It's A Wedding Extravaganza!
He asked. I said yes. It was a day that will never be forgotten. Since then we both have been overtaken by wedding planning! I have to admit I FREAKING LOVE IT! I think that I am a very creative person and I know my wedding will be all about details! Reception halls, bridesmaid dresses, limousines, who to ask, who to invite everything is going to be planned down to the final last bouquet of flowers.
When I think of what I want this day to be like I vision a glamorous vintage style wedding. Old Hollywood meets the 20th century. My engagement ring gave me this idea. The minute I saw it I just new it was the one. Just like when I saw Tom. : ) You just know.

Today I waked into a bridal salon and honestly went there with the intention of picking out my bridesmaid dresses. Mind you, I haven't really done much dress shopping for myself. A few dresses here and there but nothing that had me in awe. The lady I was working with pulled a dress from the rack after I told her what I was looking for and by golly she hit the nail on the head!
I have to admit though, on the hanger I wasn't a believer. I never would have picked this dress in a million years. As soon as I walked out of the dressing room mothers of other brides were running up to me taking pictures and telling me how beautiful the dress was on me. It didn't hit me until I came up for a breath of fresh air and turned around to see the dress for myself. STUNNING. It is has the old Hollywood glam feel and the best part...it was on sale! What Bride doesn't love a sale?
With the help of my Matron of H0nor, Jen, we have decided to go with a lighter color palette even though we are getting married during the fall. Our Wedding Colors will be: Sage Green and Ivory. I have just fallen in love with these colors during my search. To give you an idea here is an idea board of fun pictures! Pretty huh? Hopefully I can turn my vision into a reality as I try to create the unique wedding that all brides aim for! A wedding that will be timeless and unforgettable.
